The role of sodium acetate in photographic development:

1. It is used as an additive to stop display liquid and acid fixing liquid, and plays a buffering role.

2. Used as a principal agent in thinning of some oil-soluble color reverse cyan dyes.

Discontinuing liquid is also called discontinuing bath. Usually 3% to 6% acetic acid solution.

During the development of the spectral photosensitive plate produced by emission spectrum analysis, only the developer is taken out at the specified time of development, and the development has not been stopped because the emulsion absorbs the developer. The photosensitive plate is immediately put into the acid stop developing solution, and the developing effect can be stopped by neutralizing the alkali in the developing solution. The error caused by development can be reduced and the accuracy of quantitative analysis can be guaranteed.

The purpose of the fixing solution is to fix the developed image and remove the unsensitized silver halide. The components of fixing solution include: fixing agent, such as sodium thiosulfate, ammonium thiosulfate; Protective agents, such as sodium sulfite, sodium bisulfite; Neutralizing agents such as acetic acid and boric acid; Hardening agents, such as alum, chrome alum.

Print pictures available, simple, silver halide photographic paper will be in a closed in a dark room, by the laser exposure, silver, silver halide photographic paper, then the former agent, finally formed by chemical wash away excess material and color image, this is a kind of chemical reaction, is a dynamic, between molecular is a kind of image by light painting, so we usually call it the printing photos.
