Any product has different classifications. Different classification products have different structures, functions, and scope of application. We know more about its classification, which can help to better purchase. As a kind of medicinal agent widely used in sewage treatment, water treatment agent has a wide variety. In order to let you know more, the following small series introduces you to its nine main classifications.

1. Scale inhibitor, also known as scale inhibitor, refers to a class of chemicals that can inhibit the formation of scale by the formation of scale salts such as calcium and magnesium in water. There are natural scale inhibitors such as tannins, lignin derivatives, etc.; inorganic scale inhibitors such as sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium tripolyphosphate, etc.; organic and polymeric scale inhibitors, among which polymer scale inhibitors are effective. Has a promising future.

2. Corrosion inhibitor, a kind of chemical which can prevent or slow down the corrosion of water to metal materials or equipment after being added to water in an appropriate concentration and form, has the advantages of good effect, low dosage and convenient use.

3, dispersant, the early scale inhibitor dispersant is polyacrylic acid (sodium), which has good scale inhibition performance for calcium carbonate scale, but the inhibition of calcium phosphate deposition is extremely low. Such a polycarboxylic acid type scale inhibitor not only has agglomeration and dispersion, but also causes lattice distortion of the crystal during growth, thereby hindering the firm deposition of the scale layer on the metal heat transfer surface. It was later found that the acrylic copolymer inhibited both of them very well and thus gradually replaced polyacrylic acid (sodium).

4, auxiliary agents, in order to better play the role of water treatment agents, also need a series of agents used with water treatment agents, such as cleaning agents, defoamers, oxygen scavengers, oil-containing flotation agents, pre-filming agents.

5. Fungicides, also known as bactericidal algaecides or sludge strippers, anti-sludge agents, etc., refer to a class of chemicals used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms such as algae in water to prevent the formation of microbial slime. Usually divided into two types of oxidative fungicides and non-oxidizing fungicides.

6. Flocculants, a class of chemicals used to remove or reduce turbidity or suspended solids in water to accelerate the sedimentation rate of impurities and sludge in water. The earlier application of the Cochuang flocculant was an inorganic flocculant such as alum and ferric chloride. Organic and high-molecular flocculants are widely used as flocculants in feedwater and wastewater treatment.

7, cleaning agents, a class of chemicals with cleaning effects. In the pretreatment step of the water treatment agent, it is often necessary to use some chemicals to clean the deposits on the surface of the metal equipment, such as corrosion products and scales, and microbial slime. According to the different requirements of cleaning, the cleaning agent can be divided into pickling agents such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, citric acid, etc.; passivating agents such as sodium benzoate.

8. A special chemical used in purifying agents and oilfield water treatment agents to remove mechanical impurities and oils from oily sewage. In addition to the separated suspended solids or mechanical impurities from the flocculating agent, it also has oil and water. Separation purification.

9. A pre-filming agent, a type of chemical capable of pre-forming a protective film on a metal surface in a pretreatment step of water treatment. There are two purposes for pre-filming: one is to increase the concentration of the chemical in the initial stage of corrosion inhibition; the other is to use a special pre-filming agent to add a small amount of corrosion inhibitor in normal operation. Maintain and repair protective film, saving pharmacy and cost.
