The function of zinc sulfate in agriculture
1. Zinc is an essential trace element for the growth of crops. It is involved in the synthesis of auxin in crops, enhancing the root activity, promoting the growth of stems and leaves, enhancing the resistance of crops, and increasing the seed setting rate, fruit setting rate and yield of crops.
2. Zinc is a catalyst for REDOX in crops, which promotes cell respiration and auxin formation
3. Zinc sulfate can prevent physiological diseases caused by zinc deficiency, such as dead seedling, uneven heading and low seed setting rate of rice. Corn white seedlings, lack of grain bald; Wheat yellowing, flower ear unlined, atrophy unsubstantiated; Soybean and peanut white, falling flowers fall buds; Fruit lobular disease, leaf cluster disease, malformed fruit zinc deficiency. Zinc sulfate can promote photosynthesis and protein synthesis, improve enzyme activity and carbohydrate conversion in crops, and improve crop quality.
Precautions for the use of zinc sulfate
1. Zinc sulfate should not be mixed with phosphate fertilizers, alkaline fertilizers or farm fertilizers such as superphosphate, heavy superphosphate, diammonium phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate to avoid the hydrolysis of zinc sulfate into zinc hydroxide, which will affect the absorption of crops
2. Zinc sulfate foliar spray, the concentration should not be too high, so as not to cause zinc poisoning crops. In order to improve the effect of zinc fertilizer, it can be used together with fertilizers such as molybdenum fertilizer or urea.
3. Zinc sulfate should be used in the evening. If rains, it should be replenished.
